Donate to the Historic Signs

TPEHD sign option A - retouched.jpg

PLEASE JOIN YOUR NEIGHBORS as we raise funds to install 4 signs to mark the entrances to Talmadge Park Estates Historic District (TPEHD). A large one will be located in the Traffic Circle (see example above) and three smaller ones will placed be at 44th and Monroe, Euclid and Monroe, and 49th and Monroe. (The district starts on 44th Street and ends at 49th Street.)

The sign at Euclid will be near the little red real estate sales office that still stands there today.

The 44th Street location is where the Talmadge Tavern was located before it burnt down. The Tavern was the first building built within TPEHD. The developers of the district, Roy and Guy Litchy, held free lunches and real estate lectures at the Tavern in the late 1920s. There were tours of the two Talmadge subdivisions afterwards.

Donations cover the cost of 4 signs and permits to install them.

Donations go to the Talmadge Historical Society (THS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN 88-2756467) that has been founded for the express purpose of creating and maintaining the historic district.

You can make a donation by credit card using the form above. If you would like to donate by check, please mail it to:
